Question about PvPing with a PvE Char
Hi all,
I recently started playing again and I've seen that there's now a lot of items that are only PvE available that give advantages in PvP. While I'm upset about how this goes against Guild Wars' ethos of skill vs time played, I have no choice as a dedicated player to go and farm for these items. But I have some questions: 1) Is there a way I'm missing for a PvE character to have both Factions and Prophecies skills? 2) Do the same green items drop in both Tyria and Cantha? 3) Despite searching, im 100% sure this has been asked before, but I cant find a link to a green item info site or topic. Any hints? Many thanks |

ummm...where to begin
every weapon in pve stat wise is avaliable in pvp creation mode. so im not sure what you think your missing out on, if your talking about skins, well thats obvious since rare skins are a vanity item which makes pve worth playing for some people. Quote:

1) A pve toon can have both chapter skills if you own both chapters. You can easily buy them in Kaineng Center (chap 2) or Ember Light Camp (chap 1).
2) No, every chapter has its own greenies. Basically, a green weapon is a drop from a specific boss, and of course a boss has its unique spawn location. 3)There you go: http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Index_of_unique_item_lists Check the rest of the site as it contains basically everything you need to know and much more. |

Even whilst trying to be a little nasty, you managed to help, so thankyou. Oh, and you may want to get your PvP facts right. I've been away for a while and I still know more than you, if only in that one area Quote:

The ones that it mentions in that thread are *all* now available? And they've *all* been changed to be the same as PvP items? And, are the 'pre-nerf' ones now nerfed so that older players dont have an advantage?
Cheers again |

There's more, they are just hte first random three I thought of. None are available on the PVP screen. Not to mention single armour sets, only two weapon sets etc. |
